Artist statement:

K is for Drawing imageErica Fisers is a design graduate with an eye for detail. Her work has been shown in a number of exhibits and she has been a finalist in the BMDI ‘Touch of Red’ art competition.

The Anatomy series was inspired by vintage educational flashcards from Erica’s childhood, and her daughter’s fascination of the human body.

The Biology series draws from the intricate patterns found in nature. Close up images of everyday insects and sea creatures. 19th century biology illustrations were the inspiration for this series.
