I Heart Jewellery- 24th August 2012

Beth Croce’s unique line of jewellery is inspired by her 18 years in the field of anatomical and surgical illustration. The line between illustration, art, sculpture and jewellery blurs as she injects science and medicine into her pieces using, lost wax casting, printmaking techniques and ceramic technology. The result is a thoroughly contemporary body of work that changes our relationship with our internal anatomy, transforming the utilitarian into ornament. This exhibition features an installation of Croce’s jewellery and small sculpture as well as a chance to see her ‘litho onto clay’ technique in person at Lord Coconut…..
