READY TO SQUARE BY LORD COCONUTThe popularity of Mad Men has seen a resurgence of the pocket square, and while you might not have the looks or confidence of Don Draper you can still emulate his style with the simple addition of a pocket square. With a nod to heritage, and favouring traditional techniques, Eleanor Laud of Kick and Screen hand prints a limited edition collection of pocket squares onto organic cotton using water-based ink. Designs are taken from carpet and tapestry designs of the 1800s, and come in a range of colour ways. The better dressed men of Melbourne already know how easy it is to add colour, pattern and texture to their suits by complementing their shirt and tie with a pocket square. The trickiest task is deciding on a favourite fold. This collection is an extension of Lord Coconut’s offering of hand made designer men’s jewellery, and their support of local makers.
